How to set up customer accounts on Shopify
Shopify offers customer accounts that let buyers track orders, reorder and save addresses. The newer customer accounts sign customers in with a one-time code sent by email, so there's no password to forget. You choose in checkout settings whether accounts are optional, required or turned off.
