Terms of service

Last updated: 29 September 2026

These terms apply to projects and monthly services provided by Abdullah Ashraf, trading as ecomexpert.uk ("I", "me") to you ("the client"). Each project also has a written quote, which forms part of these terms.

Quotes and scope

Quotes are fixed for the scope described. Work outside that scope is quoted separately or billed at the hourly rate, with your approval first.

Payment

Projects: 50% deposit to book, 50% before launch. Invoices are due within 14 days. Monthly services are billed in advance and can be cancelled with 30 days' notice.

Your responsibilities

You provide content, product information, images and access in good time, and confirm you have the rights to use them. Delays in content may move the launch date.

Ownership

Once paid in full, you own the store, custom code and designs created for you. Third-party themes and apps remain subject to their own licences.

Third-party costs

Shopify plans, theme licences, apps, domain fees and ad spend are paid by you directly to the providers.

Liability

My total liability is limited to the fees paid for the relevant project. I'm not liable for losses caused by third-party platforms, apps or outages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
